Do the passes auto-renew?
No. Nothing here auto-renews — not the crypto passes and not the card ones. Every pass is a one-time payment with no card kept on file. When a pass ends you simply choose whether to buy another.
I paid by card — how do I get Pro?
Automatically. Card checkout runs through our Gumroad storefront: if you buy with the email you use on DegenJournal, Pro switches on the moment the payment clears, and if you sign up later with that email it is waiting for you. Bought with a different email? Sign in, open degenjournal.xyz/activate and paste the license key from your Gumroad receipt — Pro switches on instantly.
What's your refund policy?
Free tier lets you try the full demo before paying a cent, so we ask you to use it first. Crypto payments are final once confirmed on-chain — that's the nature of crypto, not a gotcha. If something genuinely breaks on our end, email us and we'll make it right.
What do I actually get on Pro?
Unlimited trade history, full AI insight + pattern detection, AI sentiment scoring on your notes, up to 25 wallets aggregated together, tax export (CSV/Koinly), and an instant email alert when a new pattern shows up on import. (Note: alerts fire when you import, not from continuous background wallet monitoring — that's a bigger lift we're evaluating.)
What is Rug Check, and what does the free tier get?
Rug Check asks Scienter's forensic engine about any token contract or wallet on Solana or an EVM chain and shows you the verdict with the signals behind it. Free accounts get 3 checks a day; Pro is unlimited and keeps your check history. When the engine doesn't have enough evidence it says 'unknown' — it never guesses, and 'unknown' never means safe.
How is this different from Edgewonk or TraderSync?
Those are excellent journals built for stocks and forex with manual trade entry. DegenJournal is built for on-chain Solana memecoin trading: you paste a wallet and it auto-imports every swap straight from the blockchain — no broker integration, no CSV wrangling, no manual entry. And you can pay in crypto.
Do I need to connect a wallet or hand over keys?
Never. Imports are read-only from a public wallet address. We cannot touch your funds, sign anything, or move tokens. It's analytics, not custody.
